Ambassador of the Arts ~ Ruthie Henshall

We are delighted to have Ruthie Henshall as our Ambassador of The Arts to Stop The Hunger. Ruthie is an actress, singer and dancer, known for her work in musical theatre. She began her professional stage career in 1986, before making her West End debut in Cats in 1987. A five-time Olivier Award nominee, she won the 1995 Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical for her role as Amalia Balash in the London revival of She Loves Me (1994). Ruthie has opened doors to support for Stop The Hunger and given her time to help make a huge difference to those in need.

Ambassador of “The Power of Sport to Support” ~ Tony Grant

We are privileged to have Tony Grant as an Ambassador to Stop The Hunger Charity. Follow Tony on Twitter @Tony11grant and see how passionate he is about sport and the world we live in. A former Professional Footballer who has gone on to become a successful Technical Director, Manager and Coach at the highest level in Football. We are excited to see what we can achieve within “The Power of Sport to Support” campaign with Tony’s guidance and influence.

Ambassador of Sport ~ Emmerson Boyce

We are delighted to have Emmerson Boyce as one of our Ambassadors of Sport to Stop The Hunger Charity. Emmerson had an amazing football career and was the Captain of Wigan Athletic when they won the 2013 FA Cup.

Together we can make a huge difference. Being an Ambassador to Stop The Hunger is engaging, fun and very rewarding. From fundraising events to marketing campaigns, all our Ambassadors contribution make a huge difference to our services and resources. A simple social media campaign on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram that we can supply the content for, can raise considerable funding.

The Power Of Sport To Support

On the 17 January 2022 we launched “The Power of Sport to Support”. We are looking to engage Individuals, Teams and Governing Bodies across all sports to help us raise £500k in 2022. We are talking to professional football teams up and down the country (including Premiership Teams) to become the hubs of their communities. We are talking to Formula One teams to Partner with us and Olympians past and present to use their social media presence to help us reach our target. We want to be changing lives up and down the country by the end 2022. Together we can make a huge difference.

We work with companies to create a Corporate-Charity Partnership and this helps us to create lasting change. We aim to ensure that every person in food poverty has the chance to change their lives.
